Our methodology
Founded by long-time equestrian and certified trainer, Katie Dixon, Renegade Equine helps equestrians build holistic connections with their equine partners to improve performance through understanding their natural behaviors. We focus on conscious, connected, holistic and comprehensive equine education. Our training methodologies are guided holistic and personalized approaches based on personality assessments, horse and rider needs, and goals. These include behavior modification for working through negative experiences, herbal support for physical and emotional issues, nutritional influences in well-being and behavior, understanding of natural herd dynamics, and above all, supporting correct horse posture without the use of forceful artificial tools. We specialize in bitless, bridleless and barefoot methods.
